THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram District Court has rejected the bail petitions of the Youth Congress activists who protested against the CM inside a flight. The judicial custody of Farseen Majeed and Naveen Kumar will continue till June 26.

The Youth Congress activists have been charged with attempted murder, obstructing a public servant, criminal conspiracy and aggravated assault that threatens the safety of an aircraft.

Earlier, the Judicial First Class Court had transferred the case to the district court after accepting the prosecution's argument that it does not have the power to prosecute crimes under aviation laws. The three Youth Congressmen who were on the plane have been named accused in the case. They are Youth Congress Mattannur block president Farseen Majeed, district secretary Naveen Kumar RK, and Youth Congress Mattannur mandalam secretary Sunith.
