THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have arrested a Kalari gurukkal for molesting a 14-year-old boy who came to undergo Kalari training. The arrested person has been identified as Pushpakaran (62) alias Pushparaj, a native of Neyyattinkara. He had been conducting Kalari classes after renting a house in the St. Martin's area of ​​Cherthala municipality.

The incident came to light after the family inquired after the child was late to go to the Kalari class. A case has been registered against him under the POCSO Act on the basis of the child's statement.
