MALAPPURAM: Muslim League leader K M Shaji has indirectly slammed industrialist M A Yusuff Ali. “He is a person who announced a package to satisfy Prime Minister Narendra Modi and aims to expand business in Yogi’s state,” Shaji said.

Shaji did not name Yusuff Ali in his remarks. Earlier, Yusuff Ali had slammed the opposition at the Loka Kerala Sabha. Hints suggest that Shaji’s criticism came in response to Ali’s remarks. “You have to satisfy Yogi and Modi in order to grow your business. Businessmen will have to do a lot for it. Do it. But, if you try to buy the Muslim League, then you will face consequences,” he said.

“The Indian Union Muslim League has only the dignity nurtured in the hands of the poor. Beyond that, it has not received any aid from any employer. As long as we don’t live with your money, we will call out whatever you do”, Shaji said.
