MANATHAVADI: A thief who left a note after robbery asking 'Why did you lock the door when you didn't have the money?' has been arrested by the police. 40-year old Pulpally native Vishwaraj is the thief. His note became viral on social media.

He robbed three shops in a shopping complex in Kundamkulam. After stealing Rs 12,000 from the first and then Rs 500 from second, he reached the third shop. But he had to leave empty-handed, so he left such a note.

Vishwaraj had attempted theft in Kalpetta the previous day and was arrested. He is an accused in about 53 cases in various districts of Kerala.There are cases against him in several places including Kalpetta, Koyilandy, Farook, Guruvayur, Kannur, Kasargod and Bathery.
