NEW DELHI: The march staged to the Parliament against the Central Government's Agnipath project turned violent. There was a commotion when the march was stopped by the police. The leaders, including DYFI national president A A Rahim MP, were dragged and arrested.
Rahim said the DYFI will continue strong protests against Agnipath. The protests in a democratic manner were suppressed. Rahim said the police used force without even considering him as an MP.
What happened here was goondaism. He said that he was beaten knowing him as an MP. There were attempts to manhandle the journalists. The DYFI staged the march to the Parliament Sunday morning.
