KOCHI: A man and his son committed suicide after a verbal dispute. The two have been identified as Babu (60) of Munambam and son Subhash (34). The incident happened Sunday morning at Pallipuram eighth ward. The locals saw the bodies of the two.

The locals said there were frequent disputes between father and son at home. Babu's wife is bedridden. Babu and Subhash entered into an argument after getting drunk the other day. Soon after this, Babu went out.

He was later found hanging. Depressed over the suicide of his father, Subhash also ended his life. Police said the suicides are following a family dispute.
