UDAIPUR: Police said the two main accused in the murder of a tailor in Rajasthan for posting in favour of former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma, have links with the terrorist organization ISIS. They were part of a conspiracy to carry out serial blasts in Jaipur on March 30. They have links with Al-Sufa, a remote sleeper organisation of ISIS through Pakistan-based Dawat-e-Islami. Muhammad Riyaz Akhtari, one of the accused is the head of Al-Sufa in Udaipur. The police also said that he was also associated with ISIS terrorist Mujeeb, arrested from Tonk earlier.
Kanhaiya Lal, the owner of a tailoring shop, was attacked by Muhammad Riyaz Attari (38) of Bhilwara and Ghous Mohammed (39) of Udaipur while taking measurements. They were nabbed from Rajsamand. The special investigating team found that the two have links with a Pakistani militant group. The matter came to light when the phone of Riyaz was examined. The Rajasthan Police and the NIA are trying to collect more evidence.
Meantime, BJP blamed the government's incompetence for such incidents. The traders will observe a bandh in Jaipur today to protest the murder. The states of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh are also on high alert to prevent clashes.
