Actor and director Joy Mathew has come forward in support of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s response over the SFI attack on his office in Wayanad. Rahul, who reminded Malayalees of the word ‘forgive’ deserves 100 on 100, he wrote on a Facebook post.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had said that he was not angry with the assailants. “The attack was launched by children. I am not angry with them. They would have launched the attack without realizing the consequences. It is the office of the people of Wayanad. It is unfortunate, what happened. Violence never resolves problems. People who did this acted in an irresponsible way. I don't have any hostility towards them”, Rahul Gandhi said, last day, after visiting his office in Wayanad.
Rahul Gandhi’s office in Wayanad was attacked by some SFI activists on June 24, alleging that the leader was not intervening in the buffer zone issue. Although, the police tried to halt the activists, they entered the first floor of the building via the back door.
