MUMBAI: Opener Shikhar Dhawan will lead India's ODI team in the upcoming ODI series against West Indies. Earlier, Dhawan had led India in ODIs and T20Is during the 2021 tour of Sri Lanka. Senior players such as skipper Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Bumrah have been rested.
All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been named the vice-captain of the 16-member squad for the three ODIs to be played from July 22 to 27. The Men in Blue will be squaring off against the West Indies for a three-match ODI series and five-match T20I series. Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan are the wicket keepers. All three ODIs will be played in Port of Spain.
