CHENNAI: Actor Vikram has been admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai after he complained of a chest pain. Sources close to him said the actor is stable. The actor was supposed to take part in the teaser launch of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan which is scheduled to happen today at 6 pm.

As soon as news of Vikram being admitted to a private hospital in Chennai circulated, all his fans started trending #GetWellSoon and #ChiyaanVikram on Twitter and wished him a speedy recovery.
