KASARAGOD: A bike rider was crushed to death as a KSRTC bus collided with his vehicle in Kasaragod. The accident took place at the hill highway in Kattamkavala. The dead has been identified as Joshi (45), a native of Kavumthala.

The bus, which had stopped to pick up a person at a steep road in Katamkavala, lost control and ran over the biker. Following which, the bus rammed into the wall of a nearby house. Joshi is a tapping worker. The rescue operation was conducted by Peringom fire brigade and the locals.
