THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kadinamkulam police arrested one person in connection with the incident of a country bomb exploding during a vehicle accident. Another suspect is yet to be arrested. The arrested has been identified Vijith (24) of Sithara House near Vettuthura in Kadinamkulam. The incident happened Thursday morning near the Fathima Auditorium in Channankara. The bomb laden scooter collided with an auto. Following that, the bomb exploded with a loud noise and damaged the auto. By then the accused had escaped.

The injured Vijith was later arrested while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kazhakoottam. He was arrested by a team led by Atingal DySP Suneesh Babu.
