THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The online applications for Plus one admissions in the state will start from Monday onwards. Only one application is required for all schools in a revenue district.A student can apply in more than one district.

The students can apply through the website www.admission.dge.kerala.gov.in. Trial allotment is on July 21, first allotment on July 27 and final allotment on August 11. Classes will start on August 17.

Those who received a minimum 'D+' grade in tenth standard examinations or with equivalent marks are eligible for application. In CBSE category, those who passed board exams will be considered in first round.

Age limit


15-20 years as on June 1, 2022. There is no age limit for those who passed from Kerala board. There is also relaxation in age limit to several categories.

How to apply

Visit website www.admission.dge.kerala.gov.in and then click on the link 'Click for Higher Secondary Admission'. Then download the prospectus and related documents. After reading that, click on 'Create candidate login- SWS' and then login using OTP received in mobile phones. Option submission and fees payment are also intiated through the same login.

The necessary documents must be carried during application process. The application number received from site should be noted down.


The government has issued an order stating the increase in number of Plus one seats in several districts. 30 percent seats have been increased in government schools in districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasargod and 20 percent in aided schools. In Kollam, Ernakulam and Thrissur districts 20 percent seats have been increased in both government and aided schools.
