PALAKKAD: Mystery shrouds over the death of Mahila morcha Palakkad mandalam treasurer Saranya (27), who was found hanging at 5 pm last evening. She was immediately taken to Palakkad district hospital, but her life could not be saved. The name of a BJP leader was mentioned in the suicide note recovered.

The name of BJP booth president Prajeev was stated in the note. Her family also alleged that Prajeev is behind her suicide. Saranya had written in her suicide note that Prajeev had used her. Her family said that they have lodged a complaint to the BJP leadership and expect an appropriate action soon. She leaves behind her parents Rajan and Sasiskala alias Thankam, husband Ramesh and children Ramcharan and Riashree.
