THRISSUR: A seven-member quotation team was arrested in the murder of a youth following a clash in a bar. The arrested have been identified as Ajmal, Athul, Yasim, Amith, Dhanesh, Vishnu and Amal. All are natives of Kattoor. The police have also taken into custody the car in which they were travelling.

The dead has been identified as Baiju (40) of Perinjanam Chakkarappadam. The incident happened at the Central Residency Bar in Thalikulam last night. The owner of the bar identified as Krishnaraj scolded an employee for forging the bill.

Police said the violence was committed by a quotation gang summoned by the employee as a revenge for it. Baiju is the bar owner's assistant. Krishnaraj and his friend Ananthu sustained stab injuries in the violence. Krishnaraj is in a critical condition.
