NEDUMANGAD: Two workers were killed in the capital city when earth caved in on them on Wednesday. The accident happened near Karakulam Keltron Junction at 12 noon. The dead has been identified as Vimal Kumar and Shibu, natives of Ooruttambalam.

The accident happened when the two were engaged in removing mud for the construction of a hospital. Though the two seriously injured were taken to the hospital, their lives could not be saved.
