KOLLAM: A student slit her wrist in the middle of the road in between a dispute with her friend. The incident happened last evening at Sasthamcotta Junction when she was coming from college.

A dispute broke out when the youth came to her side on his bike over his relationship with her friend. In between this, the youth slapped her.

The girl immediately took a blade and slit her wrist. The youth tied her wound with a shawl and then took her to the hospital.
