IDUKKI: MM Mani MLA has made it clear that he was standing firm on his statement against KK Rema. "The language I used was a first-class one. She will have to listen to more criticisms if she comes again to the Assembly. Rema won in Vadakara as it was the Janata Dal which contested against her," Mani said.
Mani had earlier told the media that he had no regrets about his statement about Rema. “None of you reacted when K K Rema defamed the chief minister for all this time. It was the opposition who first said that she is a widow. In response, I said that it was her fate that she had become a widow. I don’t think that what I said was wrong. The believers are the ones who find it wrong. I’m not a believer. No one has any special privilege in the assembly”, he said.
