monkeypox

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The driver of the car, in which the Monkeypox patient had travelled, has been traced by the police. The patient had reached Thiruvananthapuram Medical College by a taxi from the Kollam KSRTC premises. The taxi driver was identified on Saturday morning through an investigation conducted with the help of the police.

The drivers of the autos, in which the patient had travelled, were identified earlier on Saturday. The youth, who returned from Dubai, came to the N S Cooperative Hospital in Kollam and went back in separate autos.

Meantime, hints suggest that the health department has come to the conclusion that there was a failure in the patient’s treatment. On the basis of which, action is likely to be taken against the officials in the Kollam DMO office. The youth had returned to the state on last Tuesday.
