KOLLAM: A man was arrested for trying to kick his pregnant daughter to death. The arrested has been identified as Satheesan of Koppam in Kilimanoor. The accused tried to kill his daughter, who is four months pregnant, when she was going for work in her two-wheeler. She is working in a cashew factory.

The locals stopped him and informed the police. Satheesan was released from jail after undergoing sentence in two murder cases. His wife had left the house as she could not bear the harassment of him.
