Now, Nivin Pauly and Abrid Shine are sharing some interesting facts about the movie, in a special interview with Kaumudy Movies.
“My character in the movie has no links with monks like Kumbidi in early Malayalam movies. Numerous scenes were shot in Rajasthan. There were lots of questions about the movie. Shine answered all of it accurately”, said Nivin Pauly.
“The movie is a political satire. I have taken care to prepare the film without losing the soul of M Mukundan's story. None of the scenes in the movie are dream-like. I have not taken ‘Guru’ as a reference. It is a movie that moves ahead in a narrow line. The film could have been shot in Kerala or Mysore. However, there was a reason to shoot in Rajasthan. I felt that we needed the color tone of the palaces in Rajasthan. Those palaces have a special beauty. It was shot in Rajasthan considering that another part was to be shot in Kerala”, said Abrid Shine.
