KANNUR: LDF convener EP Jayarajan has sent a letter to IndiGo Airlines asking them to lift the travel ban. The letter was sent to the IndiGo Internal Investigation Commitee Chairman.
In the letter, he says that he tried to save the Chief Minister during the attack inside the flight and thus protecting the reputation of IndiGo.
He states that he is a regular passenger of IndiGo. They should have avoided people with criminal background in the flight. The letter also stated that what happened was part of a political conspiracy.
LDF convener E P Jayarajan has been banned from travelling for three weeks for pushing the youth congress workers who protested against the chief minister on the aircraft. He has been banned from travelling in IndiGo flight.Youth Congress workers who protested on the plane have been banned for two weeks. The incident took place on June 12.
"Not for three weeks, I will not travel in an IndiGo flight ever again, even if I have to walk”, Jayarajan told the media.
“Instead of investigating the incident factually, the IndiGo company has taken a wrong action. They have banned me for three weeks. I will not travel in an IndiGo flight ever again. I never realized that it was a company of such low-standards.
It would be me and my wife who had travelled the most in the flight from Kannur to Thiruvananthapuram. I will not board an IndiGo flight ever again, even if I have to walk. I have understood that it is a bad company.
Nothing is going to happen to me if I don’t travel in IndiGo flights. There are several other decent airlines. From now on, I will travel only in those flights. IndiGo did not show any interest in taking action against the culprits. There are reports suggesting that their aircraft company is in danger”, said Jayarajan.
