THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Isolated heavy showers are likely in state on Tuesday. Yellow alert has been declared in three districts namely Kannur, Malappuram and Kasaragod. There is no ban on fishing at the Kerala coast.
As the monsoon is moving northwards, the intensity of rainfall may decrease in the coming days. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), rains in Kerala will continue till July 22. Isolated heavy showers are also likely in the state.
Meanwhile, yellow alert has been declared in the districts of Palakkad, Malappuram, Kannur and Kasaragod on Wednesday. Yellow alert has also been issued in the districts of Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Palakkad and Malappuram on Thursday, and Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram on Friday.
