THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition Leader VD Satheesan said that excessive powers have come to the Chief Minister's office. He was responding to the media after KS Sabrinathan was granted bail in the conspiracy case against the Chief Minister.
"The chief minister's office is the centre of the conspiracy. The AKG Centre was the centre of such conspiracies during the time of earlier LDF governments. But now the conspiracies are with the knowledge of the Chief Minister," Satheesan said.
"The former Principal Secretary, who was the centre of excessive power in the Chief Minister's office, spent 100 days in jail. The government should demand a CBI investigation into Swapna Suresh's allegations to prove the innocence of the CM," he said.
Meanwhile, KS Sabarinathan, who came out on bail, responded that Kerala has become a banana republic and the Chief Minister is a coward. Shafi Parambil also said that Sabarinathan's bail was a slap on the face of the Chief Minister.
