KOCHI: In connection with the actress assault case, the investigation team has collected the voice sample of the BJP leader on Dileep's phone. During the forensic examination, an audio message of Thrissur BJP leader Ullas Babu was found on Dileep's phone. The sound sample was extracted at Kochi Chitranjali Studio.

This audio message deleted by Dileep was recovered through forensic examination. The audio begins with the phrase 'thediyavalli kaali chutti' (meaning found who/what I was looking for). Later on the matters related to the trial court judge's family are discussed. But the investigation team could not confirm whose audio message it was. Some other audios related to similar issues were recovered from the phone. One of them was about a 'swami'. The investigation team identified who this Swami was and went to meet him in Thrissur. The information about Ullas Babu was received from Swami. BJP state committee member Ullas Babu was a candidate from Vadakkancherry in the last assembly elections.
