THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The trial in the proof tampering case against Minister Antony Raju will be completed within three months. The Thiruvananthapuram Chief Judicial Magistrate has given a report to the High Court Registrar in this regard.

The High Court Registrar had sought a report from the trial court based on media reports that the trial in the case had not been completed for 16 years. Antony Raju is alleged to have tampered with evidence in a drug smuggling case in which he appeared for the accused. A charge sheet was filed in the case 16 years ago. However, the trial has not started yet. Meanwhile, Antony Raju responded that he is on bail in the case and it is up to the court to decide whether he is guilty or not. He said that the matter of the case was publicized during the elections.
