Sonia Gandhi will appear before the ED at 11 am. According to reports, she will be accompanied by MPs and working committee members. The Congress will stage country-wide protests against the ED action, on Thursday.

Although the ED had asked Sonia Gandhi to appear for questioning earlier, she requested to delay the interrogation citing health issues. Last month, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was questioned for 50 hours over five days in the National Herald case. At the time, the Congress had staged protests across the country in support of the leader.
