KOCHI: The investigation team has highlighted the audio recordings as crucial evidence against Dileep, the eighth accused, in the supplementary chargesheet of the actor assault case. This will include conversations recorded on the tablet by Dileep's former friend and director P Balachandrakumar and a phone conversation between Pulsar Suni and inmate Jinson in the jail.

It is known that Dileep had known Pulsar Suni earlier and there is circumstantial and scientific evidence in the chargesheet which confirms that Dileep had given the quotation. Although it has not been clearly confirmed that Dileep got the footage shot by Pulsar Suni assaulting the actor, there is circumstantial evidence that proves this. Defense lawyers who tried to influence witnesses were not cross-examined. The investigation regarding hash value change of memory card and vivo phone is also not completed.
