PATHANAMTHITTA: A woman cop who sustained injuries in an accident on July 11 died here Friday. She has been identified as CPO Sincy P Azeeza (35) of Pathanamthitta women’s police station. Her scooter collided with a car near Kidangannoor.

Sincy, who was lying on the road with serious head injuries in the accident that happened at 3.30 pm was taken to the hospital very late. She was taken to the hospital by the cops of Elavumthitta police station. She had lost a lot of blood by that time. Injuries on the head are the cause of death.

She was first taken to a private hospital in Kozhencherry and from there to a hospital in Kallissery. Sincy was in charge of giving self-defence training to women and children.
