KOZHIKODE: KPCC president K Sudhakaran has stated that the UDF welcomes LDF allies who are upset with the dictatorial tendencies of the Chief Minister. He was speaking at the Chintan Shivir camp in Kozhikode.

Sudhakaran said that organizations with left-wing ideals and programs in Kerala cannot stay in the LDF for long, because they are following hardcore right-wing agenda. There are allies in Kerala who are losing their identity and are not satisfied with the sole agenda of sharing power. Such allies will have to leave the front, said Sudhakaran.

K Sudhakaran clarified that reorganization from KPCC to Booth Committee will be completed. He also said that they will adjust the number of party office-bearers. Committees will also be formed in the district constituencies on the model of KPCC Political Affairs Committee. Training will be made mandatory for all party workers. He further stated that Internal Redressal Committees will be created to consider complaints related to women.

Earlier, a political resolution was presented in Chintan Shivir to expand the UDF. V K Sreekandan MP presented the motion and demanded that those who left the UDF should be brought back to the front and the Congress should take the initiative. The influence of the party should be strengthened in all spheres. Influence should be increased among the backward class and should also include minorities. Congress should also resist BJP's attempt to invade into Christian areas. Do not associate with anyone with religious extremism. The resolution also suggested that there should be no alliance with non-political parties including T20.
