THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPI district conference raised criticism that Kerala is governed by LDF government and not by Pinarayi government and demanded to remember that. The Pinarayi branding of the government was criticized during the public debate regarding the performance report of the party. Criticism raised was that it is not correct to call the government that came to power by LDF activities as Pinarayi government and also alleged that efforts are being made to brand the government as Pinarayi government. The delegates demanded to correct this trend which has not been seen during the tenure of a left-wing government.

Yesterday another criticism raised at the conference was that CM Pinarayi Vijayan, who travels in an escort of 42 vehicles, is not the face of the Left front. The delegates also alleged that CM was getting isolated from the people and that depeartments of the CPI ministers were being hijacked by the CPM. Following this now another criticism has been raised against the government.
