THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Recruitment Board has sent a letter to all the five Devaswom Boards seeking their opinion on the demand that by-transfer appointment of entry cadre posts in the Devaswom Boards should be done through the Devaswom Recruitment Board as per the government rules.

The letter pointed out that the Guruvayoor Devaswom Board had directly did promotion in LD Clerk vacancies which were to be selected from the last grade employees.

In Devaswom Boards there is 35 percent reservation for last grade employees for clerk post. The current practice is to appoint those who have passed the Officers' Test on the basis of seniority as vacancies arise.
