THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The General Education Minister V Sivankutty said that the government is going ahead with the activities to raise the campuses in Kerala to international standards.
Career guidance is very important for students to achieve their aims. The minister said that the government is providing awareness about various courses through career guidance. He added that a career guidance institute would be inaugurated soon at Pappanamcode in Nemam constituency. The Minister was speaking at inauguration of 'Aksharolsavam 2022' program to felicitate the students who have achieved high marks in SSLC and Plus Two examinations from Vamanapuram Constituency.
'Aksharolsavam' program was organized by Vamanapuram MLA D K Murali and by Kerala Institute of Labor and Employment (KILE). A career guidance class was also conducted for the students as part of the program. 515 students from Vamanapuram Constituency who secured top marks in SSLC and Plus Two examinations were given memento.
DK Murali MLA presided over the program held at Smitha Auditorium in Keezhayikonam,Venjaramoodu. Sub Collector Madhavikutty was the chief guest. Vamanapuram Block Panchayat President G Komalam, Panavoor Grama Panchayat President S Mini, Vamanapuram Grama Panchayat President O S Sreevidya, Pullampara Grama Panchayat President T R Rajesh, KILE Executive Director Sunil Thomas and other officials were also present at the function.
