CHANDIGARH: Anjali Yadav passed Class 10 CBSE examination with 100% marks. But her mother could not be overjoyed at her daughter's success. The challenge ahead of them is her further studies.Anjali and her family are facing severe financial crisis. Anjali who is good at studies from a young age, wanted to become a doctor. But her mother Urmila is worried on how to help her achieve this.

The day of result announcement, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar congratulated Anjali on the phone. When informed about their financial difficulties, he also offered her a scholarship of Rs 20,000 per month.

"I am grateful to the Chief Minister for announcing the scholarship after knowing our misery. With meagre finances it was difficult to manage my daughter's education and household expenses. Our suffering would end when she becomes a doctor.", said Urmila.
