PATHANAMTHITTA: Devaswom president Anandagopan says there are some technical difficulties to solve the leakage in Sabarimala's sanctum sanctorum. He said that the extent of the leak can be known only if a portion of the golden roof of the sanctum is removed.

He told the media that the presence of tantri and a special commissioner is required for this and that the repair process will be completed within 45 days. The leak was noticed in the gold-plated part of the temple's sanctum sanctorum.

Water is also seeping in from the roof. This water is falling on the Dwarapalaka sculptures. The details of the leakage can only be understood by removing the gold plates on the roof. The leak is believed to be due to age.
