BENGALURU: A yuva morcha leader was hacked to death in Mangaluru. Praveen Nettaru killed was the district secretary of the BJP yuva morcha. A three-member bike borne team attacked him and fled the place. The incident happened last night.

He was attacked and hacked to death by the team when Praveen, who owned a poultry shop near Bellaray area, was returning home after closing it. The accused fled the place immediately. Though he was taken to the hospital by the BJP activists nearby, his life could not be saved.

Police suspect rivalry between local groups led to the murder. The accused are absconding. An investigation has started to trace them.
