THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Senior Congress leader and former DCC general secretary MS Surendran (80) passed away. He passed away yesterday at 6.30 am at his residence in Thoppil Lane, Pettah due to an old age related illness. Surendran, who was a close follower of K Karunakaran, was a KSRTC employee.
