FARIDABAD: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Mata Amritanandamayi's new Amrita Hospital in Faridabad on August 24. When the hospital becomes fully operational, it will be the largest multi-speciality hospital in Asia and the largest private hospital in the country. Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and others will attend the inauguration ceremony. Mata Amritanandamayi will also be present. In connection with the inauguration, Mahahoma will be held on the 19th in the presence of 108 priests in the premises of the hospital.

The Amrita Hospital will be home to 81 specialities and eight Centres of Excellence, including oncology, cardiac sciences, neurosciences, gastro-sciences, renal sciences, bone diseases and trauma, transplants, and mother and child care. It will also have India’s largest facility to tackle infectious diseases, the hospital management said.
