THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CBI investigation team told 'Kerala Kaumudi' that the Walayar girls had committed suicide and that there is no possibility of murder. The CBI also informed that it will file an appeal against further investigation order in the High Court. The CBI, which pointed out that the charge sheet had been accepted by the trial court, added that only higher courts can order a further investigation.

The CBI team scientifically investigated the case taking into account the shortcomings of the police and the crime branch. The possibility of murder was rejected after a thorough investigation. The charge sheet was filled with reasons leading to death, additional testimony and scientific evidence.

At the same time, the family says that the CBI had left out one accomplice of the accused and did not conduct an investigation regarding the two masked men who ran away from the house while the elder daughter was found hanging. The younger girl had told the police that she saw two men masked with black cloth riding a bike from near the shed where she lived. Later, the elder girl was found hanging dead.
