COLOMBO: Chinese spy ship Yuan Wang 5 which has the ability to leak signals of nuclear, missile and space facilities, will arrive at the Sri Lankan port of Hambantota tomorrow. According to Sri Lankan authorities, the ship will remain in Hambantota till August 22.
At the same time, Sarbananda Sonowal, Minister of Ports and Shipping said that India is fully prepared to effectively deal with any challenges that may arise in the wake of Sri Lanka's permission to dock China's high-tech research vessel Yuan Wang.
Yesterday Sri Lanka grabted permission to the Chinese ship to dock despite India's warning that the ship's arrival was a threat to national security. Although Sri Lanka had written to the Chinese Embassy in Colombo to delay the arrival of the ship, China did not accept it. Yuan Wang arrives at the Hambantota in pretext of refueling.
