Actor Hareesh Peradi is an actor who often finds time to express opinions on social-political issues. Now, the actor has commented on the ongoing clash between the state government and the governor.

Taking to Facebook, Peradi wrote, “Greetings for convincing the common people of Kerala that Kerala has a governor with spine”.

The actor, who reacts on social and cultural issues, has earlier levelled harsh criticisms against the government, elites and prominent people in the film industry. The current note in support of the governor is also garnering a lot of attention on social media.

Meantime, Governor Arif Mohammad Khan came to the fore slamming the Kannur vice chancellor. He alleged that the Kannur VC is behaving like a criminal. The governor made the remarks while talking to the media in Delhi about the charges of nepotism in the appointments in universities and the Kerala University Senate resolution.

“I didn’t want to criticise publicly, but was forced to do so. He is behaving like a criminal. The illegal activities in the university are headed by the vice chancellor. I welcome the criticism wholeheartedly”, he added
