KOTTAYAM: Two students were killed in a collision between a scooter and a bullet. The accident happened Monday morning at Palakara in Kaduthuruthy. Anantha Gopi and Amal Joseph, students of IHRD in Muttuchira and natives of Vaikkom in Thalayolaparambu, are the two dead.

Joby Jose who sustained injuries in the accident is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Muttuchira and Renjith Raju at Kottayam Medical College Hospital. The scooter carrying the students collided with the bullet coming from the opposite side. Police said the scooter was carrying three people. The Kaduthuruthy police reached the spot and examined. The bodies have been shifted to the hospital.
