THODUPUZHA: A drug hunt took place in Idukki again. A young man and a woman were nabbed for selling MDMA in Thodupuzha. This is reportedly the fourth drug hunt centered around Thodupuzha in the last few days.

The arrested have been identified as Yunas Razak (25), a native of Pazhakulam, Thodupuzha and Shaji (22), a native of Nellikkuzhi, Kothamangalam. Around 6.6 gram MDMA was recovered from them. Both of them were arrested during a search at a lodge near the private bus stand, Thodupuzha.

The drugs sale centered around Thodupuzha has become a nightmare for the police. Earlier, the excise team had arrested M J Shanawas, CPO of Idukki A R camp, and his accomplice in possession of MDMA and cannabis, last Saturday.
