NEW DELHI: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AA) leaders said that an amount of Rs 20 crore was promised to MLAs to destroy their government. AAP national spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said in a press conference that they threatened to either take 20 crores and join the BJP or face the case by the CBI.

BJP’s attempt was to make Manish Sisodia another Shinde. However, the party thwarted their attempt, the leaders said. The leaders contacted MLAs Ajay Dutt, Sanjeev Jha, Somnath Bharti and Kuldeep Kumar who have friendly relations with the BJP. Sanjay Singh said the MLAs were offered Rs 20 crore each if they join the BJP and 25 crore if they bring other MLAs along with them.

The BJP knows that the case against Sisodia is fake. But Somnath Bharti said in a press conference that the BJP leaders have been given a special task to topple the AAP government. Other AAP MLAs who were allegedly promised money were also present at the press conference. However, the BJP responded that the APP’s allegation is to divert people's attention from the case against Sisodia. The BJP also accused the AAP for hiding from the questions raised by the people.
