THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan on Thursday said that the government can pass any bill and that it is the duty of the governor to ensure that the bill is not unconstitutional. The governor also said that he will check whether the university bill is in accordance with the UGC rules.

The Governor also reiterated that the VC was involved in the conspiracy related to the protest at the History Congress. The Kannur University VC was re-appointed as requested by the Chief Minister. The Governor explained that he respected the Chief Minister's statement that Kannur was his district.
