THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will interact with prominent people from various walks of life during the Bharat Jodo Padayatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. The tagline of the Padayatra is 'Mile Kadam, Jude Vatan' (step by step, unite India).

The padayatra will start from Mahatma Gandhi Mandapam in Kanyakumari on 7th September. The 150-day padayatra will cover 3570 km across 12 states. It will conclude on January 30 in Kashmir. There will be rallies in 22 cities. In Kerala, the yatra would enter at Parassala close to the border with Tamil Nadu and would travel 450 km to Nilambur in Malappuram over 19 days. Public meetings will be held in each district through which the yatra passes. The padayatra will move via National Highway from Parassala to Thrissur and then via State Highway from Thrissur to Nilambur.

The padayatra will move through 43 assembly constituencies and 12 Lok Sabha constituencies.
