Vande Bharat Express known as Train 18 is known for its speed. Currently, two Vande Bharat Express trains are running in the country. A third train is on trial run. Union Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnaw claimed that the speed limit of 180 kmph was crossed during the trial run. He shared this video on Twitter. The Vande Bharat train trial run was conducted in the Kota-Nagda section. Vande Bharat will replace the current Shatabdi Express. This train that can run at a speed of 200 kmph. But for this, a strong track and modern signal facility will be required.
This Vande Bharat Express with 16 coaches will have the same passenger carrying capacity as the Shatabdi Express. It has aerodynamically designed driver cabins at both ends for quick turn around at destinations. The train has an advanced regenerative braking system that saves power. The fully air-conditioned train offers great comfort and safety to the passengers.

After the first successful trial run of 110 km, the trial run of the second phase began on the Kotta-Nagda section. The trial run was on a 225 km section between Kotta and Nagda railway station. The maximum speed will be 180 km per hour. Railway sources said that the new train will be able to run between Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
