ERUMELI: A POCSO case has been registered against a private bus employee. The POCSO case was imposed after the 24-year-old T K Achumon of Vellavoor Cheruvalli misbehaved with a girl travelling in the bus.

Achumon proposed to the girl several times on the bus. The girl in her statement said that he had grabbed her hand twice before and once inside the bus, asked her to come forward and then caught her waist. The girl’s mother also testified that she informed them about the incident on the same day.

Two youths were seen beating him on Thursday evening and also hit him on his head with a beer bottle. The youths attacked him as the girl was one of their sister. Achumon was attacked in front of many people.
