Kodiyeri Balakrishnan stepped down from the post of CPM state secretary the other day due to health reasons. He has been admitted at Chennai Apollo Hospital for better treatment. Many leaders wished him a speedy recovery.

The leaders wished him a speedy recovery by sharing a picture of Kodiyeri with his grandchildren on Facebook. Muslim League leader and ex-minister Abdu Rabb wrote on Facebook, 'I wish Kodiyeri, who maintains personal relationships maturely despite ideological differences, a speedy recovery... May he return to full health as soon as possible.'

Congress leader T Siddique wrote on Facebook, "Let Kodiyeri recover from his illness as soon as possible... Get well soon... Prayers".
