NEW DELHI: Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari said that it is wrong to use someone and throw them away after the need. 'Never indulge in use and throw', said the minister while addressing the inauguration of the Young Presidents’ Organisation in Nagpur.

Gadkari was removed from the parliamentary board of Bharatiya Janata Party on August 17. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and a few others were appointed to the party's Central Election Committee on the same day. These two panels are very important for the organizational setup of the party. Nitin Gadkari served as the BJP National President from 2009 to 2013.

'Human relations are the biggest strength for anybody who is in business, social work or politics. If you hold someone's hand and if he is your friend, never let him go. Never indulge in use and throw policy.

When I was a student leader, Congress Minister Shrikant Jichkar asked me to join Congress for a better future. But I chose BJP. I told him that I'd rather drown in a well than join the Congress, because I don't like the ideology of the party,' said Gadkari.

Meanwhile, BJP state vice-president Madhav Bhandari said there was no need to connect Gadkari's remarks with the party's parliamentary board decision.

'Gadkari ji has spoken about human relations which is applicable to everyone. There is no connection between his statement and the party's decision regarding the parliamentary board,' said Bhandari.
